      EXPERIENCE.

The Alaska Job Center Network helps put young people (14 to 21 year olds) on the fast track to finding, getting and keeping a job. We can help by connecting you with the right people and experiences to get your first, next or best job..

The Alaska Job
Center Network has
answers to your questions
      about finding work.

Q: Can you help ME find a job?

A: You bet. Whether it’s part-time,
full-time, or seasonal, we have lots of
jobs listed on our Internet job bank
www.jobs.state.ak.us and we can help
find one that suits you.

Q: I've got JOB, but need a better one. Can you help?

A: Not a problem. Changing jobs is part
of life. We can help you discover new
options that are just right for you.

Q: I don't know what I WANT to do. Where do I start?

A: Right here with the Alaska Job Center
Network. It’s important to enjoy your work,
so start by telling us what you like to do and
we’ll help find something that matches your
special talents.

Q: It's HARD talking to employers and being interviewed. Can you HELP me out?

A: Yes, with the right answers. We can
show you how to fill out job applications,
write a resume and cover letters, practice
job interviews, and tell you about what
employers expect so you can be ready.

Q: Can I WORK before I'm 16?

A: There are some jobs you can
do when you’re 14, but talk to the
Alaska Job Center Network staff
about what’s available in your area.
